1984 Macintosh, 2001 i-Pod to 2007 i-Phone, Internet communicator

When back in 1984 Apple introduced a Macintosh operating system it created a revolution in a computer operating system industry. Well, only two decades down the line in 2001 Apple gave us i-Pod which was in itself a big enough invention that modernalised the way we make use of audio streams in our day to day life.

2007 a big year:

Of course, by keeping with its tradition of re-inventing tradition of Apple in 2007 Apple introduced i-Phone:

At an abstract level the i-Phone invention integrates the three main features such as audio-visual, speech, and internet connection set up of today's computers in a mobile phone. This in itself is a giant step. i-Phone achieves this by combining three products — a revolutionary mobile phone, a widescreen iPod with touch controls, and a breakthrough Internet communications device with desktop-class email, web browsing, maps, and searching — into one small and lightweight handheld device. iPhone also introduces an entirely new user interface based on a large multi-touch display and pioneering new software, letting you control everything with just your fingers. So it ushers in an era of software power and sophistication never before seen in a mobile device, completely redefining what you can do on a mobile phone.

I am eagerly waiting for i-Phones to introduce to the UK market. Well done Apple techies.
